I had a wonderful time meeting writers at all stages in their careers -and extremely interesting people at the International Festival of romance writers in Bedford on the 16th November 2012.
My book Mysterious Master by Isabella Rose was short listed for an award - I was thrilled just to be short listed. It was an exciting evening and I met some lovely people.

It was a fascinating and fun event for everyone with actors giving a historical playlet ending with a kiss to lend romance to the book fair.

I ran a cuddly toy competition hoping to attract more people to our book stall and the lady who won said she hadn't a child to give the leopard too so would I give it to charity.  I took it into Oxfam who were supporting the festival in their book shop window. So it will get a good home in time for Xmas.

Short listed for best author published read

Mysterious Master by Isabella Rose was short listed for Best Author Published read at the International Festival of Romance on line writers.
Awards will be presented at the Gala Ball on Friday night 16th November 2012.
What a thrill and it shows that persistence does pay off because you are never too old to learn new tricks.
